How Leaders Speak - A presentation skills workshop

You know the essential role supply chain and logistics plays within every company. But how do you convince senior management to appreciate the importance of your department? Learn from a renowned media specialist how to speak the language executives speak and also how to improve your presentation skills. For both the novice and more experienced speaker, learn how to better engage your audience and convey a more commanding presence in order to realize your professional goals.

Whether you are talking to an audience of one or 100, How Leaders Speak will ensure you’re never at a loss for words.

(This learning session is presented in partnership with the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council)

Economic Shifts - What is the Impact to your Supply Chain?

As economies become more global, efficient and cost-effective supply chains become even more important. Supply chain is currently experiencing exceptional growth worldwide. However rapid growth and globalization come with a price. Risk. Supply chains are now more vulnerable to economic and legislative volatility at home and internationally than ever before. This session will shed some light on the global economic outlook and the legislative and currency changes that are sure to follow.
Economic Shifts will show you the big picture and how it will impact the supply chain and logistics professional.

Pandemic Preparedness

What will you do when a disaster strikes?  How will your organization continue to serve its customers, keep employees working and maintain relationships with suppliers?  Why you SCREAM, of course. The purpose of this session is to help you create a new preparedness plan or improve on an existing one.

Pandemic Preparedness is a hands-on session that will definitely take some of the guesswork out of your next crisis.

Logistics in the Arctic - The Last Frontier

Logistics and supply chain management in the Arctic offers some rather unique challenges to say the least.  Apart from the isolation, inhospitable climate and unpredictable weather, the lack of resources and infrastructure provide a formidable obstacle that severely tests the patience and ingenuity of the logistics professional.

From the winter highway to the sealift, the cold, hard facts behind Logistics in the Arctic will teach you a thing or two about resourcefulness, and how better to approach the next complicated logistics problem you face.
