Claude Germain
An entrepreneur and executive in the field of logistics, Claude Germain joined Schenker as executive vice-president and COO, accountable for the Canadian P&L, in 2005. Schenker is one of the largest logistics service providers in Canada, with sales approaching $1B. In 2003, prior to Schenker, Mr. Germain was founder and CEO of Cube Route Inc, a logistics software as a service company. As the former Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Grocery Gateway Inc; president of a Texas based third party logistics firm; and a management consultant specializing in distribution for The Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Germain has extensive experience in building successful logistics organizations. In 2007, he won Executive of the Year in Logistics, and in 2002, Mr. Germain and the management team at Grocery Gateway received the Top Logistics Company in Canada award.
Mr. Germain holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering Physics (Nuclear) from Queen’s University. |
