Laurie Turnbull's extensive background includes over 25 years experience in domestic and international supply chain management, employee training and development.  Prior to joining the Cole Group, Laurie worked in the transportation service sector where he implemented successful supply chain strategies for customers in a wide range of industries. His career in manufacturing includes logistics management positions with national consumer and industrial products manufacturers with responsibility for transportation, procurement, warehousing, and inventory management. 

Laurie holds his CITT designation and the professional materials management P.MM designation from the Materials Handling and Management Society of Ontario. He has been actively involved in logistics management education since 1993 as an Instructor and seminar facilitator for CITT and the Purchasing Management Association of Canada. Laurie is a member of the Schulich Executive Education Centre faculty for the Masters Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management program, the Continuing Education Faculty at Humber College in Toronto Ontario and Assiniboine College in Brandon, Manitoba for logistics course development and distance education. He has authored several supply chain management seminars and is a contributing columnist to Canadian Transportation & Logistics magazine on topical supply chain issues.
