Microinequities and Microadvantages
At Reposition 2011, Stephen Young of Insight Education Systems will present Part Two of his highly successful Microinequities/Microadvantages leadership communications workshop.
Why Great Leadership is Beyond Words focuses on the identification of the subtle, unintended messages and the effect they have on commitment, loyalty and performance. It includes workplace scenarios and provides exercises that explore ways how messages you are not aware of are typically sent.
After completing Part One of the workshop, participants were able to:
- Identify subtle positive or negative messages in their daily interactions with others
- Explain how negative messages can devalue, discourage and ultimately impair performance
- Apply positive messages to encourage optimal performance in others and drive success
- Interpret messages that can drive changes in behavior, and apply these messages in the workplace
This year's workshop will be again facilitated by Stephen Young, partner and founder of Insight Education Systems, a company specializing in leadership effectiveness and organizational development services.
Read what delegates had to say about Stephen's workshop from last year's post-conference survey...
"This was a great session to develop leadership skills. This will help improve on skills to support employee interaction, employee/supervisor interoperability and customer relations."
"Stephen Young has the ability to keep the audience fully engaged by making it seem as if he is talking to each individual personally."
