Industry's most respected professional designation may be closer than you think. If you have earned a degree or three-year diploma in business from a university or college, you can apply for advanced standing. If you qualify, you will only need to take our 5-course suite of specialized logistics courses to complete the academic requirement to earn the CITT designation.

Advanced Standing

To apply for advanced academic standing:

1. Fill out the CITT Advanced Academic Standing Application Form (CITTPRO-04)
   
   
2. In addition to the form, you will need to attach course transcripts reflecting the successful completion of a business degree or diploma to your application package.

3. Include payment payable to CITT for the assessment fee of:
   $100 + applicable tax (see chart)
   
   
4. Mail your application to:
   CITT, Advanced Academic Standing

   Toronto, ON M5C 1C3

Note: Advanced academic standing is subject to approval. You will receive a letter of confirmation when your information has been assessed. An additional $250.00 + applicable tax (see chart) will be assessed if advanced standing has been granted. Please allow two to four weeks for your application to be processed.

Candidates who have not completed a degree/diploma but have taken some business courses at the university or college level can apply for exemptions against individual business courses.
