No degree? No problem.

The CITT Business Foundation Program can be taken at any time while following the CITT Logistics Designation Program. After successfully completing both programs, you will meet the academic requirement to hold the CITT designation.

This program provides a general, comprehensive overview of business knowledge for supply chain and logistics professionals who have not completed a post-secondary program in business. Complementing the specialized logistics focus of the Logistics Designation Program, the aim of the Business Foundation Program is to develop well-rounded management professionals, preparing them for the challenges of supervisory and management roles.

Candidates who have taken some business courses can apply for exemptions to reduce the total number of courses required to complete the Business Foundation Program.

To complete the Business Foundation Program, candidates must complete (or receive exemptions) for any five of the following:

• Business Approach to Writing
• Business Law
• Business Management
• Business Strategy
• Financial Management
• Introductory Economics
• Marketing: An Introduction
• Organizational Behaviour
• Risk Assessment

These courses are offered by CITT in partnership with University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
