Depending on your personal work experience and prior education, you may be able to take a fast track to earn your professional designation from CITT. First, pick the pathway that best fits your background -- The Challenge On-Ramp to the CCLP Designation for seasoned professionals with broad, deep experience in Canadian supply chain logistics management, or the CCLP Program of Study for those who are either newer to the industry, new to Canada, or whose careers and education haven't covered all the competency areas required to become a CITT-Certified Logistics Professional.
The Challenge On-Ramp to the CCLP Designation was designed for individuals with diverse experience in supply chain logistics management. It's most appropriate for mid- to senior-level pros with Canadian experience whose careers have touched on a variety of functional areas managing complex supply chain logistics operations. This two-step process to qualify for the CCLP designation consists of a multiple choice exam plus a practical interview. If you have gaps in your logistics education or experience but you have taken a program or course related to business, you may qualify for advanced standing in the program of study towards the CCLP (CITT-Certified Logistics Professional) designation. Those with a degree or diploma in business may only need to successfully complete CITT's 5-course suite of specialized logistics courses. Even if you have only taken some business courses, you may qualify for credits towards the business management education requirement to earn your designation faster.
