Paul D. Larson, Ph.D. is the CN Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba.  He has spoken at a variety of national and local CITT events, including the 2008 and 2015 annual conferences.  From 2006-2009, Dr. Larson led the team that developed and wrote a new C.P.P. curriculum for Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC), now Supply Chain Canada.  During 2008, as Director of the University of Manitoba Transport Institute, he led a pandemic planning research team, yielding the report: Manitoba Nutrition Supply in Event of a Pandemic.  This study inspired the Supply Chain Risk Evaluation and Management (SCREAM) framework.  Later, Paul was lead author of a report titled Supplier Diversity in Canada: Research and analysis of the next step in diversity and inclusion for forward-looking organizations, published in 2016 by the Canadian Centre for Diversityand Inclusion (CCDI).  Dr. Larson lectures and conducts research on sustainability, supply chain risk management and supplier diversity.  Pandemic preparedness and response are renewed interests, inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Paul’s e-mail is: larson@cc.umanitoba.ca.
