CITT's Certified Canadian Logistics Professional designation and program of study are designed for the professional development of those already working – in some capacity – in the supply chain logistics sector.

If you have not yet worked in a supply chain or logistics role and are looking for an entry level program to get into the industry, we recommend you look at the programs offered by our academic and training centre partners.

Some Logistics Experience Early to mid-career

Newer to the industry

If you're working in logistics and are in the early-to-mid stages of your career, it's recommended you pursue the Canadian Transportation & Distribution Logistics microcredential.

This microcredential contains the first two courses towards the CCLP designation and develops a strong base in the principles of Canadian logistics, all while giving you an instantly recognizable credential from Canada's Logistics Association.

Logistics Pro Established career in transportation & logistics

Certified Canadian Logistics Professional Designation

If you've worked at least three years in the logistics business, you are likely a strong candidate for the CCLP (Certified Canadian Logistics Professional) designation.

You'll earn the CCLP designation via the program of study, which consists of five specialized logistics courses.

Experienced, Senior Practitioner Management-level and/or deep logistics & business knowledge

Certified Canadian Logistics Management Professional (CCLMP)

If you have at least 10 years of experience in a supply chain logistics role OR a Master's degree in business administration (MBA), supply chain, or a similar relevant discipline, you may be a good candidate for the CCLMP designation.

The CCLMP is earned through a challenge exam - which consists of both a written and oral assessment. Upon completing the exam and some small additional steps, those who pass the exam will be granted the CCLMP as well as the CCLP (Certified Canadian Logistics Professional) designation.

Please note that the prerequisites to challenge the exam are not necessarily predictive of success. Interested candidates are recommended to self-assess by reviewing the competencies below, and/or via the study guide and practice test available for the exam.
