Each year, year CITT honours a CITT-Certified Logistics Professional with the Award of Excellence - Canada's Logistics Community's equivalent of a lifetime achievement award

The winner is chosen for deep industry experience, professional integrity, involvement in CITT, and more. Previous honourees have been amongst the most respected and accomplished professionals in industry in Canada, and we're proud of their accomplishments and support of CITT. 

For award recipients, the CITT Award of Excellence acknowledges an entire career of experience, leadership, professional development, and dedication to excellence. It tells them that CITT acknowledges their incredible careers. The award also lets industry know that CCLPs are professionals of the highest caliber.

Nominate a CCLP for the Award of Excellence

All nominations for 2024 must be received no later than December 31, 2024

A candidate should meet the following criteria:

• CITT-Certified Logistics Professional in good standing
• 20+ years of industry experience
• Senior-level, accomplished professionals
• High achievers
• Considered experts within their own fields/disciplines
• Possess strong leadership qualities
• Highly regarded within the industry and by their peers for their accomplishments
• Well-respected for their knowledge and integrity
• Are a driving force behind the success of their company
• Contributed to the advancement of the logistics profession
• Can be seen as industry role models based on career achievements
• Hold positions of distinction with organizations outside of their normal jobs (i.e. served on boards, councils, committees, faculties)
• Believe in the power of education and professional development
• Show great enthusiasm and passion for the industry

CITT Champion Award
This award is to recognize a CITT Certified Logistics Professional who promotes CITT within their organization and to the industry as a whole, encourages peers and colleagues to engage with CITT and purse the CCLP designation and uses platforms such as speaking engagements, social media to champion CITT. 

CITT Innovator Award
This award will recognize a CITT Certified Logistics Professional who brings the most fresh, new idea(s) to CITT. They create an inspiring picture of the future and empower others to have a positive impact on the CITT community.

CITT Mentor Award
This award recognizes a CITT Certified Logistics Professional who demonstrates typical, sustained commitment to mentoring, and inspiring others to grow and succeed professionally.

Ernie Solomon Volunteer Award
Ernie Solomon served on CITT’s Board of Directors from 1982 to 2013. He was highly esteemed by everyone he met professionally and personally in his kind, gentle, affirming, supportive, encouraging spirit while making a lifetime commitment to CITT.
