Bonnie is a Sustainability professional, a Professional Engineer and a proud Saskatchewan farm girl. She developed her passion for nature while growing up on her family’s grain farm, which inspired her to become an Environmental Engineer. She spent much of her career in mining reclamation, where she spent over 20 years rebuilding landscapes from mining activities. During those 20 years, she became the CEO of O’Kane Consultants, a multinational engineering consulting company, a position she held for six years. In 2021, with a passion for Sustainability, she pursued her post-graduate diploma in sustainability and corporate responsibility from St Michael’s College in the University of Toronto. She is now the Sustainability Director with Croptimistic Technologies Inc., an AgTech company specializing in data for precision agriculture. In her spare time she sits on various boards, is a busy mother of three daughters and manages multiple youth sports teams.
