For years, yard operations have relied on manual processes, radio calls, and RFID tags, resulting in long gate queues, blind spots, and limited visibility. On the rail side, legacy tools have struggled to keep pace with growing demands for real-time visibility and control. Vision AI changes that. By using existing camera infrastructure and advanced computer vision, Vision AI identifies trucks, trailers, railcars, and drivers in real time, automates gate and yard workflows, and syncs directly with YMS, WMS, TMS, and appointment systems, turning fragmented, paper-based operations into seamless, fully automated, real-time ecosystems.

In this session, Raza Waheed from Lactalis Canada and Sunny Mangat from Trinity Rail, moderated by EAIGLE CEO Amir Hoss, will share how Vision AI is transforming both truck and rail yard operations, eliminating bottlenecks, reducing costs, and unlocking real-time visibility across logistics facilities. You’ll hear how this technology is closing the gap between shippers and carriers, improving coordination, and delivering measurable ROI at the gate, in the yard, and on the track.

Key Takeaways

  •  Moving Past Manual: Understand how Vision AI eliminates traditional bottlenecks and reduces processing times across truck and rail.
  •  Rethinking Legacy Systems: Explore the limitations of legacy systems and why camera-based, asset-independent technology delivers deeper, more flexible visibility.
  •  Multi-Modal Perspective: Hear how rail and CPG leaders are deploying Vision AI to address visibility gaps, reduce claims, and streamline operations.
  •  Actionable Steps: Walk away with a clear roadmap to integrate Vision AI into your operations, minimize infrastructure costs, and future-proof your yard.

If you're facing delays, disconnection, or outdated tech in your yard or on the track, this session offers a new perspective and a practical path forward.
