Toronto Area Council Elections and General Meeting 2026

The CITT Toronto Area Council (TAC) is holding an in-person Annual General Meeting and election on September 22nd 2026
On September 22nd, all candidates will be announced, and you will have an opportunity to vote for your 2027 Executive Team. Voting will take place during the meeting. Only those in attendance may vote; there will be no proxy or electronic voting options. The TAC executive will be present at the general meeting and will answer your questions at the end of the session. Those wishing to run for election must apply by September 1st to be validated as a CITT member in good standing. Please send your application with the subject line "CITT ELECTION" to Marysa MacKinnon at mmackinnon@citt.ca, who will act as the elections officer. (All rulings, decisions for confirmed candidates, decisions for voter eligibility and ballot counting will be made by the elections officer.)

This meeting is open to all CITT members and industry-related professionals, including students. Per the bylaws, only full members of CITT (CCLPs) will be allowed to vote. We need all attendees to register ahead of time for the session, so if you are planning to join in, please register for the event ASAP. Please note that all registered attendees will receive the agenda and candidate bios instructions the day before the general meeting, on September 22nd. Please try to join at 6:00 pm; we will be starting the session at 6:15 pm sharp. Refreshments will be provided, courtesy of the TAC.
