Toronto Area Council Holiday Helpers Event 2025

We are wrapping up for the year again. And what better way to do it? For the 14th year running the Toronto Area Council (TAC) of the CITT is partnering with Holiday Helpers (HH), an organization that provides a one-time personalized Christmas package to low-income families with young children who are trying to improve their circumstances. Many families are single-parent households, some are new to Canada and most are involved with subsidized agencies for daycare or other family aid. Their target this year is to help over 700 families. So accept the invitation and bring your family of wrappers out for this.

The location is near Square One Mall. The address will be supplied only to those who register.
Please check your calendar before you register; spouses, family and older children (who can wrap) are also welcome to join.
How can you help now?
We have been asked to reach out to our members and personal networks for some assistance:
Do you have access to or can you refer us to someone who can donate clean, knocked-down boxes? The ideal size is 18"x16"x14".
Here is a list of other things they could use help with:
Storage Facilities – Every year, we store about 25-30 skids from the end of December each year to mid-November the next. Durham warehouse – we are opening a new satellite location in Durham to manage about 75 families. We will be looking for a warehouse or empty retail space (approximately 7,000-10,000sq ft.) to use for about a week in December this year and next. As we expand to Hamilton and Durham, we would like to increase our contacts in those regions. So anything donated, clean new boxes, in-kind trucking or transportation for deliveries or ongoing storage would be very helpful!
