Join CITT Vancouver for a tour of Loblaw’s South Surrey, BC Distribution Centre.
The distribution centre is a 408,000-square-foot perishable facility. A quarter of the warehouse is a freezer in the -18 degree range with the rest of the facility at 34 degrees. This location handles meat, dairy, produce, and frozen products for retail stores like Real Canadian Superstore and No Frills.
Visitors will observe some inbound and full outbound distribution processes, including order assembly, high reach forklift, loading, unloading, and receiving.
