Join us for a tour of Paper Excellence, Surrey Distribution Centre is located in Surrey, BC on the Fraser River. The facility opened in 1999 and has a throughput capacity of 1 million tonnes and can hold up to 40,000 tonnes of inventory. There is a dual barge ramp that accommodates pulp and paper covered barges for offloading and well as inbound truck receiving docks. The product is either taken into the warehouse facility for brief storage or is cross-docked into ocean containers, railcars and trucks to be shipped all over the world.
- Closed toe, sturdy shoes and hi-visibility vests are required
- Loan of vests is limited, so please endeavor to bring your own
- Hearing protection will be provided
