Webinar: From Trade Agreements to Trade Flows – Building the Infrastructure Canada Needs to Compete

Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
Location: Online

New trade agreements can open doors for Canadian exporters, but market access alone does not move goods. Canada also needs the physical infrastructure, logistics capacity and value-added capabilities required to serve new markets effectively. This session explores what it takes to turn trade policy into actual trade flows – from inland terminals and greater cold-chain capacity to automation, packaging and processing infrastructure.
Against the backdrop of Bill C-39 and Canada's broader push to diversify trade, the discussion examines where investment across the supply chain could unlock new export opportunities, reduce friction and help Canadian products compete in global markets.
