As Canada seeks to diversify and expand its trade in the Indo-Pacific, how can digitalisation facilitate cross-border data exchanges in both the regulatory and commercial realms? Join us for an international Webinar by CILT Singapore and CILTNA Pacific chapters to hear from two leading experts on the latest developments in trade policy reforms and trade technologies emerging in the Indo-Pacific region.
Hugh Stephens, Distinguished Fellow with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and Vice Chair, Canadian National Committee on Pacific Economic Cooperation (CANCPEC), will discuss the need for digital trade in Canada and the Indo-Pacific region, and recent joint recommendations from the Canadian and Australian Pacific Economic Cooperation councils for an updated regulatory framework for digital provisions in the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
The second part of the Webinar will be presented by Mike Yap, Vice President and Head of Group Business Development at Singapore-headquartered CrimsonLogic, a global leader in Trade Single Window developments. Mike has expanded CrimsonLogic’s footprint with more than 20 projects in 10 countries. He will explain the concept of a National Trade Single Window and how it streamlines international paperless trade in regulatory compliance, as well as incorporating commercial applications for the benefit of industry in warehousing, logistics, and finance.
The Webinar will be moderated by Eddie Sng, Director, Sanbo Technology, Singapore, which provides supply chain solutions in the field of digitalization, guiding companies through their digital transformation journey.
