CITT Announces Alliance with Food Producers of Canada
CITT announces its newest alliance, and first alliance with an organization not primarily focused on supply chain or logistics
CITT is pleased to announce it has entered into an alliance with the Food Producers of Canada (FPC). This marks CITT’s first such agreement with an organization not primarily focused on supply chain or transportation – highlighting how many logistics professionals work in food production, and how important logistics operations are to food producers.
“Our alliance with Food Producers of Canada is very exciting for us” says Pina Melchionna, CEO and President of CITT. “Many industries understand the importance of logistics and transportation, but food producers are true leaders in the space. “FPC welcomes the opportunity to build a working partnership within the logistics sector” says Denise Allen, President & CEO of FPC. “This alliance with CITT is key to advancing the skills and community necessary to manage our current transportation challenges and serves to strengthen and secure our food production and delivery, mitigating future crises when they arise.”
