CITT has announced its newest industry alliance by formalizing its relationship with FITT
CITT has announced its newest industry alliance by formalizing its relationship with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT). CITT’s alliances are agreements with like-minded organizations in the supply chain logistics space, established to advance the industry and the mutual interests of both partners’ members.
“We’re very exited about this alliance with FITT” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT. “CITT has been collaborating informally with FITT for years, and the formalization of our partnership has been a long time coming.” She elaborates “international trade expertise is a crucial set of competencies for many supply chain logistics practitioners – even more so in the present turbulent environment. Many of our members and their organizations have been looking for the type of learning provided by FITT, and we can attest to its rigor and quality. Canada’s Logistics Association looks forward to working more closely with FITT and empowering our members to navigate international trade with confidence.”
“International trade depends on strong logistics and supply chain expertise, making this partnership a natural extension of our shared commitment to professional excellence” says Caroline Tompkins, CAE, CITP, President & CEO of FITT. “By bringing together our respective communities, FITT and CITT can collaborate on education, skills validation, industry events, and professional connections that create clear value for members of both organizations. In a rapidly evolving global trade environment, the ability to learn across disciplines and work in coordination is essential.”
