CITT – Canada’s Logistics Association – is pleased to announce its new alliance with Food & Beverage Atlantic (FBA), an industry association dedicated to supporting the growth and prosperity of food and beverage manufacturers in their region. The agreement will foster closer collaboration between the two organizations, enabling them to better advance their respective mandates and provide more resources for their members.
The partnership also builds on the momentum of CITT’s increasing presence in Atlantic Canada following on the success of Canada’s Logistics Conference 2024, which was held in Nova Scotia in June, as well as growing interest in developing and deepening supply chain logistics relationships and capabilities from organizations in the food and beverage sector.
“Food and beverage logistics and supply chain has become an area of great interest to our association over the last few years,” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT. “Food & Beverage Atlantic has spent 25 years delivering excellent education and training to their members – as well as providing many other valuable forms of support. As we continue to foster excellence in food and beverage logistics, we look forward to working with FBA and their members.”
This partnership with CITT is a natural fit for us,” says Tammy Brideau, Executive Director of Food & Beverage Atlantic. “It not only strengthens the logistics knowledge within our membership but also positions us to address emerging challenges in the national and global marketplace, ensuring that our producers can continue to thrive.”
