Although CITT has alliances with several trucking associations, this alliance with PTTAC marks the first such alliance with an association dedicated to the driving profession.
“CITT firmly believes that people are the most important part of transportation operations,” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT. “That couldn’t be more true than in trucking, where operators are the lifeblood of the business. As Canada’s Logistics Association, we are strong supporters of the work PTTAC is undertaking to both grow the profession, and to build high standards focused on safety and professionalism.” She continues “We look forward to collaborating with PTTAC in their important work to advance trucking – and transportation – in Canada.”
“At the Professional Truck Training Alliance of Canada (PTTAC) it is part of our mandate to bring value added proposition’s and best in-class services to our membership,” commented Jim Campbell, Chairman of the Professional Truck Training Alliance of Canada.
“Having a formal collaborative agreement and partnership with CITT, Canada’s Logistic Association is a step in the right direction for PTTAC and our members. This relationship will allow us to offer resources, enhance training and education opportunities for the betterment of the industry.”
