CITT excited to support inaugural Schulich Sustainable Supply Chain Case Competition
CITT has announced its sponsorship of the first Sustainable Supply Chain Case Competition, organized by the George Weston Ltd. Centre for Sustainable Supply Chains at the Schulich School of Business.
CITT is proud to sponsor the 2024 Sustainable Supply Chain Case Challenge. The new case competition offers graduate students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to address a real-world business case relevant to the future sustainability of supply chains. The inaugural competition will take place in February 2024 at the Schulich School of Business, York University. The challenge is organized by the George Weston Ltd. Centre for Sustainable Supply Chains in collaboration with Schulich’s Supply Chain and Operations Management Club.
The competition will feature student teams from the Schulich School of Business (York University), Ivey Business School (Western University), DeGroote School of Business (McMaster), and the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto).
CITT will also provide a judge for the live Finals event, with Lillo Puma, CCLP – VP, Transportation at Walmart, representing CITT on the judging panel.
“We’re very pleased to help make this competition possible” says Pina Melchionna, President & CEO of CITT, who is also an honorary judge of the competition. “CITT been involved with Schulich and its Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) for several years now. From our experience, the program produces graduates of exceptional quality, and we look forward to seeing the students produce in this competition. And it’s our hope it will help them be better leaders supply chain leaders.”
