Accredited Program: Supply Chain Management and Logistics post-graduate diploma

Graduates from the NBCC Supply Chain Management and Logistics post-graduate diploma program who achieve the minimum grade in key courses meet all the requirements to earn the Canadian Transportation & Distribution Logistics microcredential from CITT.

Additionally, graduates of this program are also eligible to receive seven (7) of the ten (10) required credits towards the CITT-Certified Logistics Professional® (CCLP®) designation granted by CITT.

If you meet the requirements summarized below, you can start the process to receive your microcredential certificate and log your credits towards the CCLP designation by submitting your course transcript to Maria Murjani at CITT via email at mmurjani@citt.ca

Summary of requirements for graduates of this program to earn the Canadian Transportation & Distribution Logistics microcredential:

  1. Achieve a minimum grade of 60% in each of the 2 courses listed below, to receive credit equivalency for CITT’s Transportation Systems course:
    • TRSP1031 – Transportation Systems
    • TRDI1067 – Freight Forwarding

  2. Achieve a minimum grade of 60% in each of the 12 courses listed below, to receive credit equivalency for CITT’s Logistics Processes course:
    • BMGE1171 – Risk Management
    • BMGE1186 – Public Procurement
    • ETHI1064 – Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics
    • LEGL1102 – Business Law
    • LEGL1120 – International Law
    • TRDI1062 – Warehouse Management
    • TRDI1063 – Foundations of Supply Chain Management
    • TRDI1065 – Supply Chain Management Technology
    • TRDI1066 – Purchasing and Supplier Management
    • TRDI1067 – Freight Forwarding

Summary of requirements for graduates of this program to earn the CITT-Certified Logistics Processional (CCLP) Designation:

  1. Achieve a minimum grade of 60% in each of the 2 courses listed below, to receive credit equivalency for CITT’s Transportation Systems course:

  2. Achieve a minimum grade of 60% in each of the 12 courses listed below, to receive credit equivalency for CITT’s Logistics Processes course:
    • BMGE1171 – Risk Management
    • BMGE1186 – Public Procurement
    • ETHI1064 – Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics
    • LEGL1102 – Business Law
    • LEGL1120 – International Law
    • TRDI1062 – Warehouse Management
    • TRDI1063 – Foundations of Supply Chain Management
    • TRDI1065 – Supply Chain Management Technology
    • TRDI1066 – Purchasing and Supplier Management

  3. Meet all other program requirements to earn the Supply Chain Management and Logistics post-graduate diploma, to receive equivalency for the 5 general business course credits required to earn the CCLP designation.

  4. Complete the CCLP Designation application and certification process, including:
    • Providing a copy of the final transcript confirming that conditions 1-3 have been met
    • Earning the remaining 3 course credits (Integrated Logistics + 2 advanced logistics electives from Transportation Law, Economic Influences on Logistics and Logistics Decision Modelling)
    • Providing evidence of a minimum of 3 years of work experience (in Canada or internationally) in a supply chain and logistics function*
    • Signing the CITT Code of Professional Ethics
    • Agreeing to adhere to the CITT Constitution and By-laws
    • Agreeing to participate in a certification maintenance (continuing education) program
    • Paying their annual professional fee ($425+tax annually; pro-rated for the first year)

*Graduates of the program fewer than 3 years of work experience in a supply chain and logistics function can apply for CCLP Candidate status to access preferred membership benefits until such time as they have worked in a relevant role for three years and can apply for their CCLP Designation.
