SELC Career College offers four programs with advanced standing towards the CCLP designation

SELC Career College is the second institution ever to be recognized by CITT as a Centre of Excellence in Logistics LearningSELC and CITT have collaborated in the development of two programs that will equip graduates with the in-demand professional competencies required to succeed in Canadian logistics. Both SELC Career College programs, Supply Chain Management Specialist, and Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics contain 5 of CITT's specialized logistics courses, each of which has been developed in collaboration with numerous industry stakeholders across the sector to ensure their relevance and practicality.

And as a Centre of Excellence in Logistics Learning, SELC Career College's students have access to CITT's Canada's Logistics Community and its network of professionals across the country.

Supply Chain Management Specialist 400

International Students: Accepted
Program Type: Diploma program
Program Duration: 48 weeks/960 hours classroom instruction
Co-op Duration: 400: 48 weeks/960 hours co-op / 410: Non Co-op version of program
Total Duration: 400: 96 weeks/1920 hours / 410: 48 weeks/960

Graduates of this program who successfully complete the seven courses listed below with a passing grade of no less than 50% meet all the academic requirements to apply for the CCLP designation with no additional testing or fees required*. If they also have three years of industry work experience (including Canadian and international experience), they are eligible to apply for their CCLP designation right away. If not, they can apply to become CITT Articling Participants, accessing the network and many additional perks while they accumulate their required experience.

Supply Chain Management Specialist 350

International Students: Accepted
Program Type: Diploma program
Program Duration: 36 weeks/720 hours classroom instruction, 180 hours homework

Graduates of this program who successfully complete the six courses listed below with a passing grade of no less than 50% can apply for 7 credits towards the CCLP designation with no additional testing or fees required.

CITT courses & general business courses accredited towards the CCLP designation in this program include:

  • Transportation Law
  • Economic Influences on Logistics
  • Introduction to Supply Chain Management
  • Business Ethics
  • Business Negotiations
  • Digital Business and E-Commerce Management
  • Project Management Fundamentals

Additional requirements to earn the CCLP designation:

  • Three Core CITT Logistics Courses: Candidates from SELC's Supply Chain Management Specialist 350 program need to successfully complete Transportation Systems, Logistics Processes and Integrated Logistics in order to meet the academic requirements to earn the CCLP Designation.   • Three years of industry work experience (including Canadian and international experience). Candidates who meet the academic requirements and already have three years of related work experience are eligible to apply for their CCLP designation right away. If not, they can apply to become CITT Articling Participants, accessing the network and many additional perks while they accumulate their required experience.


 

Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics 200 & 210

Program Type: Diploma program
Program Duration: 24 weeks/480 hours classroom instruction
Co-op Duration: 200: 24 weeks/480 hours co-op / 210: Non Co-op version of program
Total Duration: 200: 48 weeks/960 hours / 210: 24 weeks/480 hours

Additional requirements to earn the CCLP designation:

  • Four more general business course credits: Candidates from SELC's Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics 200 program who have taken general business courses -- either at SELC or another Canadian or international post-secondary institution -- can apply for credit equivalency for the remaining four of the general business management courses required for the CCLP designation at a discounted rate of $25 per course. The $115 prior learning assessment fee is waived for students in this program. Students have the option to enroll in any of the equivalent courses provided by CITT or any of CITT approved educational providers/or representatives to fulfill the curriculum requirements in order to obtain their CCLP designation. *ALL candidates who are eligible to apply for the CCLP® designation also need to:

  • Agree to uphold the CITT Code of Professional Ethics
  • Commit to continuing professional development and the CITT Certification Maintenance Program
  • Pay annual professional fees ($425 + applicable tax/year)
