Ken Carey joined the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation as Manager of Business Development in November of 2017 where he supported the Highway H2O Community to develop logistics and transportation solutions leveraging the Seaway system. Ken is now the Sr. Manager Real Estate Business Development. In this role Ken is responsible for the sales and service delivery teams that manage the hundred of clients on over 20,000 acres within the Seaway's Real Property portfolio. Prior to the Seaway, Ken was with CP Rail for 14 years in increasingly senior sales positions and has handled a variety of commodities and customers in both inter-modal and carload and his final role at CP was the National Account Manager, Retail, where Ken handled the largest portfolio within the inter-modal team at CP.

Ken also spent 5 years with the CPLS group (Canadian Pacific Logistic Solutions).  Ken was the commercial lead for the Ontario team and managed a team of solution design specialists tasked with growing this specialised non-asset division within CP.  Under Ken's leadership, the team secured several long-term contracts, including the 3rd largest beverage distributor globally, and one of Canada's fastest growing retailers. These two accounts have generated over $150M in gross billings for CPLS (and counting). Ken’s most recent position was Director, Business Development at Wheels International.  Wheels, part of the Radiant Group, is a large third-party logistics firm specialising in truck, rail, warehouse, and freight forwarding.  During Ken’s time at Wheels, he managed the largest portfolio within the company. Ken is a graduate from McMaster University and holds professional designations in sales and is a proud holder of a CCLP designation. Ken lives in Hamilton, is married, and the father of 2 expensive university students.

Grace Liang joined OOCL at the Hong Kong head office in 1980 and began her career in container shipping following her two bachelor degrees from the University of Western Ontario and University of Windsor in Canada.  After two years of service, she returned to Canada to pursue her MBA degree and upon completion of her post-graduate education, she rejoined OOCL in Hong Kong and worked in the Trans-Pacific Trade marketing department. This role in the Trade department gave her an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation and knowledge base in container shipping which greatly helped to shape her career path in both the company and industry.

Canada has a special place in Grace’s heart.  She returned to the country where she married her husband in 1985 and continued her career in container shipping with Manchester Liner Canada in Toronto which was then a wholly own company under the Group.  Manchester Liner was later renamed to OOCL Canada Inc. in 1988.  Grace continued to pursue her career in Marketing and Sales by taking on various roles in this area within the company and was appointed to her current role as President of OOCL Canada Inc. in October 2012.  In the same year, she attended the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania

Timur joined Canpotex in 2001 and is currently the Director, Ocean Transportation. He has been responsible for providing strategic input, ensuring the cost effective and reliable ocean transportation of potash from multiple terminals in North America to customers around the world.
 
Timur started his exciting shipping carrier in 1993 and held various positions from deck officer on a ship to vessel operations and chartering. He has a degree in navigation from Baltic Fishing Fleet State Academy and MBA in Management/Marketing from Maastricht School of Management. In spare time, Timur enjoys sailing and racing dinghies on Saskatchewan lakes. He is rear commodore of Saskatoon Sailing Club and serves on board of Saskatchewan Sailing Clubs Association.
