Frequently Asked Questions

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and ever-changing government policies, there might be uncertainty about attending an in-person event. CITT has created a refund and cancellation policy to be as fair as possible and give you complete peace of mind when registering.

  • What if CITT is unable to host the event in Montreal as planned?

In the event government restrictions force us to cancel an in-person event, the virtual component will go ahead as scheduled on the event platform, PheedLoop. Registrants’ tickets will be converted to virtual tickets and you will be provided with a refund of the difference. Should you choose not to attend virtually, CITT will provide a full refund.

  • What if I’m unable to attend the event due to testing positive, self-isolating requirements or another COVID-19 related reason?

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing by email to Tracy Persoglio at tpersoglio@citt.ca. A refund of the full price paid less $150 plus tax will be made.  Substitutions are permitted, member, affiliate and non-member price difference will still apply. Please notify CITT as soon as possible if such an event occurs. Attendees will also have the option to converting to a virtual ticket and receiving a refund for the difference.

Cancellations for non-COVID-related reasons must be received by May 18, 2022.

  • What if I’m feeling ill but unable to get tested until after the cancellation date?

We can offer a substitution from a live registration to a virtual registration ticket and refund the difference if you feel you might present a risk to other attendees and staff.

  • I’m still feeling uneasy regarding safety restrictions, can I change my live conference ticket to a virtual ticket?

Yes, we can substitute your ticket for a virtual registration and refund the difference. Changes must be made before May 18, 2022.

  • What safety measures will be in place to ensure the health and safety of all in attendance?

We are closely monitoring new restrictions and mandates from Public Health Canada. We will be adhering to current federal and provincial recommendations. This will include face masks, social distancing and vaccine passport checks upon check-in and when entering dining areas.

  • Is vaccination required to attend Canada’s Logistics Conference?

Yes. In accordance with federal and Quebec provincial mandates, valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination must be presented in order to be allowed entry to Canada’s Logistics Conference. Individuals without valid proof of vaccination will be denied entry to the conference, exhibit and dining spaces. No refunds will be issued to individuals without valid proof of vaccination.

  • Do I need a booster shot to attend?
